Rolex Vintage Oyster Perpetual Chronometer Tropical Bubble Back Ref 2940, circa 1949. 32mm Gold filled case with curved lugs, Rolex screw-down crown and smooth bezel. Stainless steel screw-back case and acrylic crystal. Beautiful Original Silver dial with great patina has Arabic numerals and arrow markers, red sweep seconds hand. Automatic movement running and functioning properly. The inside case back is stamped - Rolex Geneva Swiss 2940.The movement is marked - Rolex Perpetual Chronometer, Swiss Made 81520. Presented on a non-Rolex strap and tang buckle. This preowned watch shows average wear for for its age.
